Was there ever a time in your life wherein for some reason, you could hear someone’s thoughts? Or how about knowing what someone was about to say, before he or she had said it? Myers, as far back as 1982, replacing the term “thought-transference.” If we are to come up with a simple definition of telepathy, it is the psychic gift that allows people to communicate with the minds of others, without using any tools, but the mind alone. Telepathy is one form of extrasensory perception, or ESP. Telepathy comes in two forms – projective or perceptive. This means a person can either be a sender or receiver of telepathy. On the other hand, if you think of a person, then that person calls you, this means that you are a good telepathic sender.

Telepathy is often portrayed in modern and science fiction. Take for example Professor X in X-men. He has this power of communicating, and even controlling, a person’s actions through their thoughts. But Professor X is a comic character, and fictional in nature – he does not exist. But as a special ability, telepathy is non-fiction, often referred to as the “psychic mind language”.

Despite the many occasions that a psychic has demonstrated telepathy, there are still many out there who still refuse to believe its reality. This is because that there is no scientific basis on how any psychic gift came to be, and this is why people doubt the existence of such psychic powers.

What these skeptics don’t know, is that telepathy has been used all throughout the world’s history and until now. Take for example the mother-baby relationships. We are all aware that new born babies do not know how to speak, or convey their wants or needs through body language. Yet, their mothers always know what these babies need and want.

People doubt the existence of the psychic realm, because they just lack knowledge and understanding about its concept and coverage. What most people do not know, is that in every person, a degree of a psychic ability is found. Telepathy is an innate ability, just like any other psychic gift.
