In numerology, the life path number is derived from the date of a person’s birth. Deriving this number consists of two steps. First, add the digits of the person’s full date of birth. For example, if someone was born on November 8, 1986, then the numbers added together would be 8 plus 22 plus 1986. The final sum would be 2016.
Secondly and finally, add the digits of the number found previously. Working with the previous sample, the sum would be: 2+0+1+6 = 9. That final sum, in this case, the number 9, is what numerologists will be working with to find the life path. To make this process a little easier, try using a numerology website with a calculator designed for this purpose.
The different numbers in the life path system are 1 through 9. Each of these numbers are associated with a specific set of personal characteristics (some of which are positive and others negative) as well as the journey that these people tend to follow. For sums that exceed the number 9, the series starts over. 10 = 1, 12 = 3, and so forth.
Additionally, there are what have been termed “master numbers” which are doubles found in the last step. The ones most focused on are 11 and 22, but some systems also use 33, 44, and so on. There are some numerology users and writers who believe that people with these types of numbers, especially 11 and 22, have more potential than those whose final number has a differing sum. In that vein of thought, an 11 has more potential than a 2 or a 20.
Learning of greater potential through numerology has made some proud of their inherent trait or imagined destiny, but others may get depressed or feel unable to live up to those expectations. For this and other reasons, leading numerologists have decided to throw the idea of master numbers out the window and simply incorporated these numbers into the regular one through nine series.
This is certainly a more equitable take within numerology, since no human being is inherently better than another, and the idea of master numbers may lead people to think otherwise. Numerology is simply intended to guide someone to their best possible life, rather than define them as a human being.

People in general are often advised to not eat right before going to sleep at night because your body will not use the energy it receives from said food and it could contribute to an unhealthy diet. However, did you know that having a small amount of carbohydrates before bed can increase your chances of achieving successful astral projection? This isn’t exactly a ‘how to’ astral projection guide, but one of the many ‘how to’ prepare for projection items.
Carbs are known for not only promoting normal brain function, but also for relaxing the brain and mental processes somewhat. This may sound strange, especially with known terms like “sugar high”, the result of eating too much sugar. But sugar in particular has an almost drug-like effect on the body, and it may reduce the connection slightly between the consciousness and the physical body.
This is why it is suggested, by me and by other people knowledgeable in astral projection, that the astral traveler may benefit from having a small amount of sugar prior to attempting projection. It has also been theorized that those who have high-carb or high-sugar diets may be more likely to fulfill their desire to project due to the overall concentration of sugar in the body and the effects it has on the brain.
If you choose to use sugar prior to projection, know that it should not entail stuffing yourself until you’re full. You aren’t looking for a full stomach to project, as it might cause upset in your body that would probably distract you from your focus on projection.
A little sugar is all that’s needed to stimulate your mind in the proper way, such as what’s found in a handful of berries, a few chocolate chips, a marshmallow, a cookie, a sip of juice, and so on. You don’t want to be bloated, but you want to have the sugar in your system. These are only suggestions as far as portion sizing for your sweet snack…obviously, some people may have allergies to the ingredients used in some of the aforementioned foods, so be sure to choose something that will not make you have an allergic reaction. You definitely cannot project if you can’t breathe or you’re breaking out in hives.
Stay away from caffeine…even though most caffeinated beverages contain lots of sugar (like carbonated drinks), these are not the carbs you want to use. The caffeine will make you much too alert to initiate projection and the sugar will conflict with the caffeine and will not help you.

Our physical body is supported by an energy body. While we have organs that act as important centers of the human body, our energy body has chakras. Today we will talk primarily of the throat chakra and the role it plays in our life.
The word chakra is an ancient one, originating in the Sanskrit language. Chakra means wheel, which describes its energetic appearance. Each chakra has a role, ranging from our basic primal body knowledge up to our higher spiritual knowledge or wisdom. The throat chakra relates to the flow of communication.
When we speak of communication our first thought is of an exchange of words between two people. Communications are not restricted to words alone. We have sign language, using symbols and gestures to make a point.
Looking beyond words we use more than the symbols of words to get across our message. There is the look in our eyes, the way we move physically, and the tilt of our mouth. We use tone and volume, even silence.
Our communication is far more than just the words we utter, though our primary focus is on the vocal aspect. In the energy body and the throat, or communication chakra, the chakra itself is more of a passageway to relay the collective message from our knowledge, perception, heart, and emotions.
There is another aspect of the throat chakra that is called the inner voice. This ability connects us body, mind and spirit. Our inner voice is the conduit to connect to our own emotions, feelings, perceptions, knowledge and our higher spiritual powers.
Another part of the throat chakra is telepathy. While this name is often recognized many of us believe we have little or no experience with this ability. Telepathy does not use the physical means of communication, so there is no evidence of how much we really use this style of communication.
This basic overview gives you a greater awareness of the throat chakra and how this chakra helps us in our ability to communicate with others. Combining awareness and intent we can more easily heal ourselves, and strengthen our ability to express ourselves in this world.
